Project Title: Free ICT Training
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Orlu
Target Audience: Teens and Youths
Objective:
The Free ICT Training project aimed to bridge the digital divide by providing free access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education to underserved communities. This initiative was designed to equip participants with essential digital skills necessary for personal and professional growth in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Project Description:
This initiative offered free training in basic computer skills, internet usage, word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication. Participants were introduced to coding, web development, and other advanced ICT skills to enhance employability and digital literacy. The training sessions were delivered by experienced trainers through a combination of in-person workshops and online resources.
Achievements:
Trained 20 individuals, including students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
Increased digital literacy by 50% among participants.
Provided free access to necessary ICT tools and resources.
Impact:

Participants were matched with mentors who provided one-on-one coaching and advice on overcoming career challenges. Monthly seminars were held to address specific areas of growth, including emotional intelligence, time management, and goal-setting.

Successfully mentored 20 individuals.
Conducted 6 workshops and training sessions.
Established lasting mentorship relationships that extended beyond the program.

The Book Donation program focused on donating educational books, particularly on financial literacy, business, and personal development, to schools, libraries, and community centers.

Conducted 2 workshops on financial management.
Donated 100 books to 5 schools and community centers.
Reached 100 individuals through real time events.

Participants were paired with industry mentors who provided guidance and feedback.
